A Chinese famille rose porcelain vase, bearing Daoguang seal mark, enameled in famille rose palette around the cylindrical body and neck with phoenixes flanking large blooms borne on a continuous meander of curling tendrils, all reserved on a turquoise ground, between band of pink ruyi heads with auspicious symbols to the shoulder, and intricate floral scrolls on yellow ground to the neck, bearing Daoguang (1821-50) seal mark to the underside.
