Graham McKenzie collection - 1968 Cricketer of the year: wooden 'Golden peanut Award - Australia's Cricketer of Year' trophy presented to Graham McKenzie by Sir Alan Mansfield (Governor of Queensland) on behalf of the peanut Marketing board at Brisbane on March 20, 1968; length 40 cm, width 17 cm; also a 1968 (Mar.23) newspaper cutting from 'The West Australian' showing McKenzie holding the trophy, and wearing the presentation blazer (see previous lot).
