Early bulbous headed club, Gippsland, Victoria. Carved and engraved hardwood. Club with bi-cornual head, probably from the Gippsland region. Their clean forms and well shaped heads possess a functional beauty. Approx length 59.5 x 8.5 cm. Provenance: Collected by Reverend George Cox church of England Whilst at Mirboo North Victoria and Port Albert Victoria 1920's. John sharp, Hamilton, Victoria. Private Collection, South Australia.
