A Chinese Junyao flambe-glazed Meiping vase, 20th century, the high shouldered body rising to a narrow everted mouth, covered in a rich purplish-red glaze with lavender blue streaks thinning to a buff colour around the rim, one side leaving the greyish blue underlayer apparent, signed to the unglazed underside with an incised four-character mark, height 32 cm
