Toki poutangata (hafted ceremonial adze), with a tapering slender handle, the top section with a carved wheku head with rauponga detailing and cut paua shell eyes (one missing). Hafted with an argillite toki bound with muka. Provenance: Dame Jenny Gibbs collection, 43 cm x 22 cm. Y number pending
