A large and impressive Ming Dynasty Medicinal or Herbal wine jug from Southern China, having a green glaze, spout, lid, and a handle. An unglazed panel to the front shows character marks - 'Chasing the Wind', describing the energising effect of drinking the wine. 43 cm.
