A kumete bowl, Cook Islands, used for domestic purposes including the preparation and storage of food. Carved from a single piece of wood in an oval form with a square protrusion at each end. The wood has remnants of a dark brown lacquer. Height 11.5 cm, width 57.5 cm, depth 29.5 cm
