George Owen (Royal Worcester) important large reticulated vase and cover this piece is the Finest example of George Owens Amazing and detailed work. This vase produced for the Chicago world Exposition 1893. It is Described in original Royal Worcester invoice book. Preserved at the Dyson Perrins Museum Worcester 'Shape 1482, vase with cover, richly pierced, very rich filigree work on all plain parts, pink included introduced on neck and handles, honeycomb in turqouise, rich gold beads and filigree band around body inscribed underneath 'Chicago Exposition 1893' height 40 cm, width 17 cm. Provenance: Wales Collection.
