Sybren Valkema (1916-1996), An art glass vase, 1963, a free-blown colourless glass vase with enclosed glasstrails, signed to footrim and numbered Vh 36, illustrated in and together with a copy of the exhibition catalogue, Leerdam Unica 1923-1987 by Marc Heiremans, which accompanied a 1987 exhibition at Galerij Novecento, Antwerp, 38 cm high, Note, The Dutch artist and teacher, Sybren Valkema, was the founder of the European studio glass movement known as Vrij Glas (free glass)
