A Chinese carved washstand, early 20th century, the rectangular elm frame inset with carved figural tablets surrounded by finely carved and pierced scrolled foliage sides, the four circular legs supporting a bowl and joined by a lattice undershelf, fitted with a blue and white porcelain mountainous landscape bowl with apocryphal Qianlong mark underside. Height 168 cm, width 50 cm, depth 41 cm
