An African wood carved mask, no locality specified, possibly a Dan mask from Liberia. Carved from a single piece of heavy wood. Depicting a face with a protruding mouth with bared teeth. The mask has a mohawk and a flared beard. With remnants of black paint. Length 50 cm, width 24 cm, depth 18.5 cm
