A Sevres porcelain cup and saucer (Gobelet Hebert Et Soucoupe, 2eme Grandeur), blue interlaced L mark with date latter F for 1758, painter's mark N for Francois Aloncie (fl.1758-81) the apple green and 'Bleu nouveau' ground with gilt 'Oeil de perdrix' and fine scrolls, the cup with a quatrefoil reserve painted with a bird and plants, the saucer with a circular reserve painted with a bird in a tree, height of cup 6.5 cm, diameter of saucer 13.5 cm. Provenance: The cup with paper label inscribed 'Sir John Macdonald'
