Russian silver and crystal twin handled centre piece, marked Moscow, with auxiliary Kokhnik mark, maker Egor Cheryatov and retail mark of Fyodor Lorie, set with a deep crystal bowl within a silver mount, with two monogrammed cartouches, surrounded by pierced sides with fine borders, flanked by a pair of loop handles, decorated with raised leaf and berry motifs, raised on six cylindrical legs, 51.5 cm x 26 cm note: in 1912, the firm was transformed into a partnership with the conditional capital of 800,000 rubles, co-founded by the employees of the C.Faberge Moscow branch - Alexei Lemkul (in the 1900's the head of gold department) and Giulio Guerrierii, who in the 1920's worked with C.Faberge Sons - Eugene and Alexander in Paris. Perhaps F.Lorie executed orders for C.Faberge who controlled the production, marketing and assortment of the partnership.
