Electoral History: Penrith Borough Lists 1857-1858

[New South Wales - Electoral History] 'Lists of Electors for that Portion of the Electoral District of the Cumberland Boroughs being the Borough of Penrith in the Police District of Penrith for the years 1857 & 1858' each page bearing a hand-stamped oval 'Police Officer Penrith' and signed by the Senior Magistrate, Robert Copland Lethbridge. A manuscript listing over eight large format pages of all those males eligible to vote. In each case, to the 105 named individuals are added their 'Nature of qualification' (to vote), 'Where the property affording the qualification is Situated' and 'Place of Residence'.
