An antique gold cameo brooch, finely carved shell cameo featuring probably Antinous Vertumnus, chip and repair at right shoulder, to a surround of twist wire and trailing fleur de lis style detail, tests 15ct gold with fine bloomed finish, size 45 x 53 mm, wt. 19.87g.
