Reference: A Rose-box sold by Albert Amor Ltd London Autumn 2004 exhibition cat.no 5. Rose boxes are recorded in the 1755 Chelsea sale catalogue: Lot 80- 'Four fine roses and four leaves to ditto for desart'.
