A Roy Cowan amphora floor vase, 1983. Made from stoneware, with a bulbous, beige glazed body. The piece is decorated with various geometric motifs, including concentric lines, contrasted with incised vertical rectangles, and circles. Height 90 cm, width 33 cm, diameter 33 cm, Provenance: Private Collection, Aotearoa, acquired from Webb's, the bank of New Zealand Art collection part II, September 2022, Previously of the New Zealand Academy of fine Arts, Wellington, 1986.
