A rare pair of Derby partridge tureens and covers, each modelled sitting on a nest of sieved clay and vegetation picked out in colours, the head turned to look over its back, circa 1760. Length: 12.5 cm. (2) both have exhibition labels from the ceramics and glass circle of Australia, 'Delightful Derby Exhibition', 1995, Bendigo Art gallery. Provenance: The Robin Barkla collection
