A large Chinese ink and watercolour on slik, of a woman with children at an alter table, finely worked with some faults. 77 x 43 cm. Gilt framed under glass. Provenance: Ex. the estate collection of Dr David (Auckland) & M Stephens. Based in Singapore circa 1956 - 1975. David was a passionate and knowledgeable collector of jade, porcelain and Chinese items. He was a member of the South East Asian Ceramic Society.
