An old Chinese pale green jade small pendant/handling piece, as a recumbent horse, its head turned back while scratching its nose with its hoof, the junction forming the suspension hole. L3.3 cm. Provenance: Ex. the estate collection of Dr David (Auckland) & M Stephens. Based in Singapore circa 1956 - 1975. David was a passionate and knowledgeable collector of jade, porcelain and Chinese items. He was a member of the South East Asian Ceramic Society.
