The Egypt medal to an Australian serving in Sudan: silver, with 1882 dated reverse; engraved to Pt W. Williams - N.S.W. Contingent. With non-original mount. Private William J. Williams (service No.454), born in Cornwall, was a seaman, embarking on the SS Iberia in March 1885 and returned to Sydney on the SS Arab in June 1885.
