John Paine (1833 - 1908), an attractive leather-bound album containing a collection of albumen paper prints of Sydney and New South Wales, circa late 1870s - early 1880s, most with Paine's title and initials in the plate. Scenes include 'Berry's Bay', a busy day in 'George Street', 'Man-o-War Bay', 'Circular Quay', 'Bullock team on Bulli Pass', etc. All approx. 15 x 20.5 cm. (30).
