A pair of Satsuma 'Thousand Faces' vases, late Meiji period, late 19th century, the pair of slender stem vases of elongated baluster form with high shoulders and a short everted rim, each profusely decorated with a 'Thousand faces' design between delicate brocade gilt borders, signed underside. In good condition as catalogued, height: 15.5 cm
