Indian chain mail shirt: Maybe from Anup Singh Mahrajha of Bircanee, a general in Moghal Emporer Aurangzebs army. A very fine shirt with small rivetted links & many narrow back plates & 2 large breast plates; o/a a good example of a mid 17th century chain mail & plate horseman armour, the front rectangular body plates secured by 8 loops retained by decorative brackets; overall g. Cond. C.1689,
