Dior diamond and Mother-of-pearl 'Rose Des Vents' necklace, centring a circular mother-of-pearl plaque applied with an eight-point star centring a claw-set diamond weighing approximately 0.03 carats, the reverse set with mother-of-pearl, mounted in 18ct gold, length 430 mm (adjustable to 410 mm and 390 mm), gross weight approximately 3.8 grams, numbered 1xxxx9, maker's mark, signed Dior. Accompanied by a Dior Joaillerie box, a Dior Joaillerie certificate dated 6 January 2018.

- Claw Set Jewellery - The description "claw set" in jewellery refers to a setting where the gemstone is held in place by metal prongs that resemble claws. In the early 1900s it was used to make pearl buttons. Mother-of-pearl is a soft material that is easily cut or engraved.
Nowadays it is a by-product of the oyster, freshwater pearl mussel and abalone industries.
