A large Jun bowl, Jin-Yuan Dynasty, 13th century, a large Jun ware bowl, Jin to Yuan dynasty, covered with a bright milky-blue glaze, darkening at the mouth rim. The recessed, unglazed base is inscribed with characters in faint black ink. Circles 7 cm high, 17.5 cm diameter. This Jun ware bowl also shares similarities with other examples, including one from the J.J. Lally collection featured in Christie's auction in March 2023. Both bowls exhibit the characteristic milky-blue glaze typical of Jun ware from this period, similar example: a Jun deep bowl, Christie's New York, J. J. Lally & Co. 23/03/2023, lot 873, diameter 17.5 cm x 7 cm high. Provenance: a private collection, Adelaide
