An early 20th century silver vinaigrette/potpourri box, oval form, the embossed and pierced with ecclesiastical arches and ivy vine. London 1914 by William Comyns & Sons. Stamped retailer's marks to the base 'Littlejohn & Son Wellington A1887', length 6 cm. Provenance: From the collection of Gerry and Valerie Bermel (of Travis Antiques, Wellington 1950's to 1986).
