Hamilton Marine Chronometer with Manual and Travelling Box, Mid-20th Century

A Hamilton (U.S.A) marine chronometer, 12 hour silvered dial, (the norm, as supplied to the U.S. Navy). This example, circa mid 20th century. gimbal mounted, 56 hour mechanism. Top glass of the inner box is missing. Also comes with its padded travelling box and printed manual. Seems to 'Tick' strongly.
