France: 'Le Bain' or 'Baigneuses', 1908 [struck 1910], silver medal by Abel-Lafleur, 54 mm, depicting two naked females bathing; rev.trees by a river; softly modelled, superb art-deco design. Abel-Lafleur is best known for his enduring design of the FIFA world cup trophy.
