Len Castle (1924-2011) large and deep yellow sulphur bowl, graduated sulphur yellow glaze thinly applied to the exterior, becoming heavier towards the base. The yellow glaze inside is similarly applied so it is thinnest at the rim, gradually becoming heavier at the centre. Stamped potter's mark to the base with incised date 2009. Purchased from the potter by our vendor in 2009, diameter 41 cm. Provenance: From a life long Auckland collector and friend of the potter.
