A Belle Epoque black opal and diamond pendant necklace, The solid black opal displaying a fine play of colour measuring 18.5 x 15.5 mm, surrounded by twenty four old cut diamonds in a scalloped frame totalling 1.20cts, suspended from a tapered pierced triangular frame with diamond leaf detail and a solitaire old cut diamond of 0.25cts, platinum and 18ct white gold, suspended from a 14ct and 9ct white gold trace chain, total weight 8.97gms, total length 470 mm.
