Two New Zealand historical medals to 'The Rev.d James H MacKenzie' (1849-1949), includes the New Zealand Volunteer Service Medal, '12 Years Service', engraved to 'THE REV.D JAMES H. MACKENew ZealandIE, HON.Y CHAPLAIN NELSON RIFLE VOLS. (1904)' together with The Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long Service Medal, ornately decorated, at the top is the Royal Crown and below this are the words "FOR LONG SERVICE IN THE COLONIAL AUXILIARY FORCES", awarded to 'REV. J.H. MACKENew ZealandIE. CHAPLAIN 2ND CL. N.Z. CHAPLAIN'S DEPT. (1913)'.
