A Carlton Ware 'Paradise Bird' bell gondola vase, third quarter 20th century, unidentified decoration pattern (reissue) both sides painted with a single flying bird and butterflies around Chinese-style flowering shrubbery, a variant of the 'Paradise bird' pattern, elements of the design to the interior, on a 'Rouge Royale' type ground, the rim, handles, and feet gilt, later version printed white 'script' mark underside. Height 16.5 cm. Width 34 cm. Depth 17 cm.
