A rare West Australian sterling silver golfing, presentation cup by Gordon Holdsworth, (1885-1965), working Western Australia c.1908 - 1965, inscribed 'WA Golf Club Anniversary Cup presented, by the Foundation Captain Eustace Cohen Aug. 1929'. The cup is constructed in the Arts & Crafts style with, hammered-beaten decoration to bowl, central, column and lower base, with rope-twist silver wire, decoration, very similar to the JWR Linton style, signed to base 'G. Holdsworth Del et Sculp'. Height 20.5 cm
