A Chinese Imperial famille rose dish, late Qing Dynasty (late 19th century), of low bowl form and decorated centrally and to the cavetto with an iron red and gold dragon in contest with a coloured phoenix below a key fret border in pink, blue and green upon a yellow ground, the exterior with floral sprays and arabesques in similar tones; with Guangxu marks underside. Height 4.5 cm. Diameter 24 cm
