A rare Western Australian engraved presentation Drinking glass c.1900-1912, with engraved inscription: 'R. H. Jenkins, Presented By Angus Milne, Corktree Hotel' with engraved decoration circling glass depicting cattle and stockman on horseback verso. Angus Milne is recorded as the proprietor of the corktree Hotel, which is located 33kms from the Town of Laverton. There is also an incident recorded where Angus Milne was shot and wounded by armed natives December 1910. R.H. Jenkins is recorded as a station manager employed by Emanuel Brothers, who were suppliers of stock and meat to Perth and the goldfields. R.H. Jenkins is also recorded as a passenger on board the SS Koombana during her ill-fated trip, when she left port Hedland to Broome, going down in a storm March 1912. Height 13.5 cm
