(iii) Africa Star. (iv) Italy Star. (v) Defence Medal. (vi) War Medal 1939-45. (vii) New Zealand War Service Medal 1939-45. MM was an immediate award. Green was a dozer operator during the battles for the Sangro bridgehead, Italy, in November 1943. [Approximately 580 MM to 2NZEF in Mediterranean and Middle East]. With photocopy of original typed Army form recommending MM and citation signed by Col F M Hanson and Lt-Gen B C Freyberg.
