(i) Volunteer Long Service Medal, Victoria (Capt John Edward Barltrop, Manchester Rifle Vols (1903). 120 medals issued. (ii) New Zealand Long and Efficient Service Medal (Lieut John E Barltrop, Manchester Rifle Vols 1896). Granted 17 August 1896. Stagg records medal is 3rd type of which 471 medals issued. (iii) Masonic Lodge jewel or badge, 9ct gold, Awatea Lodge No. 258 (Brother J E Barltrop, 1931). (iv) Masonic Lodge jewel or badge, Rongotea Lodge No 146 (Worshipful Brother J E Barltrop, organist, 17.7.1929). (v) Fob-watch fine woven chain with gold medal (cross) attached; obverse engraved with portrait of Druid and reverse engraved: UAOD 2 Arch Druid Barltrop, Token of esteem from Maitai Lodge No 301.
