A Chinese carved jade ornament, mid 20th century. Provenance: Purchased in Taiwan 1970s, decorated in the round in modulating shades of vibrant flecked green to mint and near white, well carved and pierced depicting figures holding a lotus and surrounded by symbols of good fortune, coins, gourds and peaches, with in a timber base: with repair. Height 23 cm. Width 25 cm. Depth 10 cm
