A large Derby vase with 'A View in Cumberland', 1806-1825, of typical carinate urn form with a broad waisted neck, foliate scrolled handles, a small stem and circular foot to a square base, reserved with a well painted landscape view upon a cobalt ground lavishly decorated with scrolls and classical detailing; with title and iron red mark of period underside and painted number '23'. Height 29 cm
