Australian Blazer From First Kangaroo Tour, green wool, with embroidered Australian Coat-of-Arms & 'Rugby League, Tour of England, 1908' on pocket, window mounted with caption 'Rugby League's Oldest surviving Piece of Apparel. A blazer from the pioneering Kangaroo tour of 1908. it is not known which of the 34 players who comprised the first Kangaroos owned the blazer. Easts were represented on tour by Dan Frawley, Sid Pearce, Larry O'Malley, Dally Messenger and Albert Rosenfeld', framed & glazed, overall 56 x 103 cm. Provenance: Sydney Roosters collection
