A flambe-glazed 'pomegranate' vase seal mark of Qianlong of hexafoil section, the lobed body rising from a spreading foot to the waisted neck and everted mouth, the sides divided by pairs of vertical ribs, and covered overall with a milky lavender-blue streaked crimson glaze, the base incised with a six-character mark under a mottled toffee-brown glaze 20 cm high
