British issue, plus miniatures. ii) six hand written diaries; war Time log book with with German POW Pass; various wartime relating documents and ephemera. iii) various Para cloth badges, military badges, Beret. IV) quantity of RAAF, Richmond, NSW, wartime photos of paratrooper uniforms and equipment. V) various letters, documents, notebook, wartime publications, family and personal photographs, etc. Vi) two books: 'The Courtney's' by Ron Austin and 'Red Berets and red Crosses: the story of the medical. Services in the 1st Airborne division in World War II' by. N. Cherry . Note: Paratrooper Courtney was born in Victoria 1911 and is also directly related to the famous Courtney's of. Gallipoli, 'Courtney's post' fame. Further reading on Thomas Courtney can be found in the book, 'The Courtneys' by Ron Austin including his involvement in 'The Battle of Arnham'. 'T.R.B.
