A fine wealth Billum, Sepik river area, finely woven bush fibre string bag, ochre painted and highly decorated with shell wealth items, including: Nassa shells, Bailer shell, Cowrie shells and Conis shell discs. See the field photo of similar wealth billums in the village. Provenance: Collected by Peter Hallinan (1938-2015).
