Ron Arad (1951 - ) is an Israeli-born designer and architect who is known for his innovative and experimental use of materials in his work. He has worked in a variety of media, including furniture design, product design, and architecture, and his work is often characterized by its bold, sculptural forms and unconventional use of materials. Arad was born in Tel Aviv in 1951 and studied at the London Royal College of Art. He is considered one of the pioneers of the British design movement known as the New British Designers, and he has received numerous awards for his work.
